Steve’s primary practice areas include representation of creditors and debtors in consumer and commercial bankruptcy cases, civil litigation, and business law. He focuses on counseling creditors and debtors in commercial collection and bankruptcy matters, including commercial workouts, corporate restructuring, adversary proceedings, and bankruptcy litigation. Recently, Steve and Andrew McInnis (also of CBH) represented the first small business to successfully reorganize in the Western District of Michigan under the new Small Business Reorganization Act (Subchapter V of Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code).
