Andrew McInnis
Drew is a partner at CBH Attorneys & Counselors, PLLC, where he has practiced since 2019. His practice focuses on civil litigation, appeals, and small business matters.
Since joining the firm, Drew has built a broad litigation practice representing individuals, businesses, and organizations in property claims, business disputes, embezzlement and fraud cases, employment actions, insurance defense and personal injury matters, and government enforcement actions.
Drew takes pride in assisting clients in navigating complex disputes before, during, and after litigation. He advocates zealously for his clients while providing practical guidance concerning the emotional and financial tolls that litigation brings.
In addition to his litigation work, Drew provides counsel to small businesses on a range of legal and strategic matters, helping clients navigate transactions and mitigate risk.
Drew has been recognized as one of Grand Rapids Magazine’s Top Lawyers in Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law since 2023 and has been recognized as a Rising Star in General Litigation by Super Lawyers since 2024.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Drew was a judicial law clerk for then-Chief Justice Markman of the Michigan Supreme Court. In 2018, Drew graduated from the Michigan State University College of Law summa cum laude and second in his class out of 232 students. He was also a member of the Michigan State Law Review, earning publication for his case note Play Under Review: How the NLRB Failed to Protect Some of the Most Vulnerable Employees—College Athletes, 2018 Mich. St. L. Rev. 189 (2018).
Outside of work, Drew enjoys spending his time with his lovely wife, Lauren, traveling, playing golf, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
